Central Penzance
The Ritz - refurbished by legendary cinema group ‘Merlin cinemas’, this new arts venue has been renovated to the highest standards. This is unlike any venue in the area, with table service and premium bars in the downstairs stalls and amazing views from the balcony.
Close to all Penzance’s bars and local attractions.

Can I move between areas?
Like any venue you can access all areas, but during screenings and talks you’ll be seated in the area you booked, except for the after party when stalls will be open for all.
Can I move in and out?
Yes, just like you would at any theatre, but for the evening event access may be limited.
Are there any restrictions?
Yes - the balcony only has staircase access.

Thanks to the new state of the art screen and sound system at the Ritz, you can now see Blue Juice in all it’s original high definition glory (a version rarely seen outside of London’s west end!). That’s not all - the new theatre also has that good old Dolby sound, so this time, when those bone crunching waves crash, it’s going to be (in the words of Crab) - Epic!

A brand new venue
Right in the heart of Penzance!
Locals might know it but the doors have not been open for many years. Now thanks to the monumental efforts of another local legend, Geoff Reaves, this art deco venue has been restored to well beyond its former glory and we’ll be one of the first events through its art deco doors.
Split across two levels, with an upstairs balcony that holds over 100, the Ritz combines original features with new state of the art additions. Downstairs the seating is split between premium tables and luxury boxes. The stalls also benefit from waiter service at certain points within the shows.
